Happy mother’s day to all you mothers out there. We might be mothers but we are certainly not past it. We have just been there, done that and bought the t-shirt before anyone else. Becomming a mother does not mean that we have to give up wearing 3 inch heels, stop wearing makeup, and horror of horrors, stop going to the hairdresser for our weekly blow dry. No. Becomming a mother is an enhancement of our life, and a perfect way of showing the male species out there how good we are at multi-tasking.

 

 

I might be naive, but is it just me who is getting irritated with the new layout of the Times? I am not talking about the internet version, but the printed version. It is looking exceedingly a clone of the Independant. Now both these news papers make a good read from time to time, but the Independant always irritated me with its layout, various suppliments, and haphazzard way of presenting their articles. The Times of Malta had more of a clean cut image, maybe a few people would call it conservative. But I happened to like it. All the articles were well defined and it looked totally presentable to me. But this version is definately not up my street. Ok so some might say, it does not matter as long as the content is fine. But with me the adage ‘l-ewwel ma tiekol l-ghajn’ is very important.
